Kim Colegrove of Pause First Academy On The Five Lifestyle Tweaks That Will Help Support People’s Journey Towards Better Wellbeing
Kim Colegrove, author of Mindfulness for Warriors and Wellness Warrior Style, has a brand new interview that is a feature on Authority Magazine. Kim shares from her personal experience and what she has learned on what lifestyle changes work best for better overall well-being.
Here is an excerpt:
What are your “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Started” and why?
- There’s no such thing as an overnight success. Be patient, do the work.
(I tend to get discouraged easily.)
- It’s okay if you don’t embrace hustle culture.
(I had to give myself permission to ignore that hype.)
- Learn from others but do things your own way.
(I wasted too much time trying to emulate the formulas of others.)
- Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel.
(I finally gave up on comparing myself to others and boy was it liberating!)
- Never underestimate the power of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
(My propensity is to wing it. I had to embrace systems to survive self-employment.)
